This one-of-a-kind necklace is handcrafted from beautiful recycled sari silk ribbon in vibrant orange tones.
I’ve plaited three strands of silk together, leaving a flowing tassel at the bottom. Natural orange Garnet beads are sewn around the top of the tassel, adding a textured detail.
The necklace length can be adjusted using the sliding toggle at the back.

Sari silk ribbon is a unique handmade yarn created from recycled fabric left over from sari production in India. Its deliberately frayed finish is part of its natural character, meaning no two pieces are exactly alike. The ribbon I use is handmade and hand-dyed by women’s cooperatives and craftspeople in rural communities in northern India.
